PetTheDog is a shared game: what you catch, the names you give and your username are seen by everyone who plays. By tapping Accept in the app you agree to these rules. They are also the terms of use.
There is no place in PetTheDog for objectionable content or abusive users. Don't post or name anything that is:
Catch dogs by photographing them, from where you stand. Don't chase, corner, feed or touch dogs you don't know to get a picture, and leave dogs with their owners alone if the owner minds.
Every dog and every player in the app can be reported, and every player can be blocked: their dogs disappear for you, and they are not told. We review reports within 24 hours. Content that breaks these rules is removed, and players who post it are removed from the game.
You keep the rights to the pictures you take. By sharing them in the game you let us show them to other players in PetTheDog and nowhere else. Deleting a catch or your account removes them.
You must be 13 or older to play.
PetTheDog is provided as it is, free of charge. We may change or end the game, and change these rules; changes are posted on this page.
